I studied in a darkroom, but I shoot digital.

I use DSLR cameras and several lenses, but only the eye is important.

I think of my images as single frames from a movie.

My studio is all around me.

I think Henri Cartier Bresson said it most succinctly:

"Photography cannot be forced, it either happens or it doesn't.
You see the image all at once, like a painting, as the elements come together, you either get it or you don't.
To me, it's the possibility to capture in a fraction of a second, the emotion of a subject, the beauty of form, the lines, the natural geometry.
I don't have a message.

You see. You feel. You respond." - HCB, 2003
